What Is PPC and How Does It Work?

  Ever notice those ads at the top of Google when you search for something like “best pizza near me” or “cute dog costumes” (no judgment)? Well, those ads are a prime example of PPC which stands for Pay-Per-Click. It’s a form of online advertising where businesses pay a fee every time someone clicks on their ad. It’s like paying for attention but only when someone actually pays attention. In other words, you’re not throwing money into the internet void. You only pay when people click on your ad, visit your website, and (hopefully) become a customer. Sounds pretty smart, right? How Does PPC Work?
